Rollestone Open Walk

Our second club walk at Rollestone was well attended by 23 people. This was an ‘open to all breeds’ walk and, along with the usual crowd of GSDs, we were joined by two Golden Retrievers, a Spaniel, a Border Collie and a Bearded Collie/Border mix.

In all there were 18 dogs – Izzy, Sasha, Misty, Cushdy, Willow, Tyrone, Alfie, Sabra, Grace, Brandon, Jess, Storm, JD, Toby, Frankie, Jordi, Max and Molly.

As the pictures show, it was more of a swim than a walk. The puddles were horrendous. Most of dogs couldn’t resist and ended the walk soaked and muddy.

Back at camp Tracy and Heather took charge of the cooking and managed to whip up eggs and bacon served on bread rolls before the rain came. Everyone went home full, happy and plastered (with mud).
