What fabulous weather we had!!!
Pepperbox Hill walk.
We started off in the National Trust Nature Reserve, tip-toed through a cow pasture, and onto the byway and footpaths beyond.

As we found out on our last visit to Pepperbox Hill, the natives are not friendly. While last time we were rudely re-routed by a local land owner, this time we were confronted by an angry farmer on the signed public footpath!
The highlight of the walk were the hay bails. The dogs (and owners) saw these as an agility challenge and, in revengeful response to the farmer that turned us back, some of the dogs attempted to jump the bails.

We arrived back in camp hungry and thirsty. Luckily, Rose had laid out the salad bar and everyone helped themselves.

While we were relaxing in camp a small saloon car arrived next to us and out jumped two people and a Great Dane. No matter what they did, they could not get the Great Dane through the ‘kissing gate’ that leads up to the Pepperbox. He was too long!
No walk for this fellow - too long to fit...
All of our 18 dogs made it through the gate – Max, Hopie, Storm, Amber and another Amber, Sabre, Murphy, Fly, Alife, Kea, Arko, Izzie, Jerry Lee, Grace, Jae, Annie, Molly and Molly.
