Too Posh to Camp
Minnie on Hols
During the summer of 2009 several of the WAGS dogs went off on their hols with their human families. For instance, Minnie, who comes to the WAGS walks with Joanne, was lucky enough to go rally camping.
Where's Min?
However, Joanne discovered that Minnie was really too posh to sleep in a tent! Joanne says, “She wouldn’t sleep in my tent and had to go in my parents camper van. Posh tart!”
You've got to love me.
Joanne explains, “I have the only dog that howls the house down if I leave her alone and ricochets off the windows if I leave her alone in the car. On top of that, she used me as traction to get out of the tent and into my parents camper for the night! Not even a backward glance!”
Solar powered Minnie!
“I followed her into the camper to see what she was up to and she had already settled comfortably. She opened one eye and looked at me. You could almost read her mind, ‘Yeah, have fun in the tent sucker, I’m staying here.’”
Minnie comfortably settled in the camper van
The next morning - Minnie warming bum.
The next morning, she didn’t even have the decency to look embarrassed. On the second night of camp, she just bypassed the tent and went straight to the van. Too posh to camp!
Me. Camp in a tent!!!! Wha?
Ahem! It has been noted that on recent club walks Minnie persuades kindly Club Members to carry her up the hills! (See the photographic evidence >>>>)
