I arrive for my third visit with the puppies. I notice that, on this hot, humid day, Sharon is wearing wellies with her summer skirt. She warns me that I might regret the flip-flops – the wellies are her defence against sharp needles and puppy teeth. [ more ]

Bud is looking for a pack leader. He’s a gorgeous, energetic and extremely affectionate black and tan GSD. At 7 years old, he was left at the Salisbury Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre. He likes it there, but he’d really like to live in a regular home and have someone special in his life. [ more ]

Four Weeks Old
Sally holds up 2 of the pups and says, “It’s between these two”. One of them is Punk, who I held on my previous visit, although his name does not suit as well now as the hair on his head has lost its spiky look. The other one has a splodge of nail polish on his back to identify and, until he has a proper name, I decide to refer to him as Splodge. [ more ]
