Brandon Brown Discovers Snow
February 2009
As with Molly, it was Brandon’s first time in the snow. At first Brandon was mesmerized by the white fluffy snowflakes and as they fell he insisted on trying to catch them. After the initial surprise of seeing the snow we managed to continue on our walk.
Along the way, we had some great snowball fights (many of which Brandon managed to catch in mid-flight) and when he found a small ice-covered pool of water, he was obviously keen to bathe because he jumped in, breaking through the ice and into the freezing water below.
After a short snow storm Brandon found a large concrete tube and had a great time playing, I’m sure he must have been thinking he was at Agility.
The following day we ventured up to Westbury White Horse, where the snow was at least a foot deep.
We had a great time fighting in the snow drifts - I was nearly up to my neck in it. Brandon even got stuck...
Near the end of the walk Brandon took his dad on a skating trip. I laughed until my belly hurt!
